The Hydrographic/Geophysical Data Processor is responsible for the processing, reporting and charting of all geophysical project data. The person we are looking for will have to deal mainly with the following: • Processing of multi beam (MBES), side scan sonar (SSS), sub-bottom profiler (SBP)and magnetometer data, in line with internal procedures and external/Client specifications; • Data QA/QC • Interpretation, charting and report writing; Qualification: Preferable Bachelor degree in Earth Sci./Eng./Nautical Science Experience: Experience in Geophysics preferred , minimum 3 years' Minimum Requirements: • Computer knowledge (Windows OS) • Autodesk AutoCAD Basic Knowledge • Good English speaking, writing, reading and listening • Able to work flexible hours, travel when required and work offshore. • Microsoft Office Package usage • Unrestricted ability to travel • Willingness to work offshore/abroad for long periods • Good communication and teamwork skills are essential; The ideal candidate shall meet the following requirements in addition to the above: - Bosiet / Huet Valid certificate (OPITO approved) - Valid passport Full time contract (fixed / indeterminate time) and classification (level and remuneration) will be defined during the final interview. The research is extended to both sexes (Law 903/77) and is urgent.
